London Climate Action

If you live in London and care about the future of your city and your planet then London Climate Action is the place for you. There are several ways to get involved:

1. Come to an event

We've got the following events coming up:

Art Auction
BASH Studio, 65-71 Scrutton Street
Sunday, 21 June
2 - 4 pm

London's Camp for Climate Action group is launching an auction of artwork. Proceeds will help build the massive social movement needed to tackle climate change and will go towards putting on another amazing camp this Summer.

Please reserve tickets here

Carbon Trading Workshop
BASH Studio, 65-71 Scrutton Street
Monday, 22 June
7 - 9 pm

Discover the truth behind carbon trading in a unique workshop organised by the Camp for Climate Action. Kevin Smith (Carbon Trade Watch) will give a critical perspective on market-based solutions to climate change. There will also be a screening of the documentary ‘The Carbon Connection’, showing the real impacts of carbon trading on local communities, and plenty of time for questions and discussion.

Come along to talk, listen, learn – and find out how you can take action for social justice and against climate change.

Please email london@climatecamp.org.uk to book a place and put “carbon trading workshop” in the subject line

2. Come to our organising meetings

We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7pm, in association with the SOAS Green Society. The meetings now happen at:

Room FG08, Faber Building
School of Oriental and African Studies
23 Russell Square
London
WC1H 0XG
Nearest tube: Russell Square

NB. If the weather is sunny, we tend to meet on the grass next to the Brunei Building instead (where the word 'Brunei' is on this map) - if so there will be a note on the door.

*PLEASE NOTE: The venue has now changed from the Vernon Square campus for the summer!*

5. Invite a speaker

Would you like someone to talk to your group about Climate Camp and how you can get involved? This is a great way to inform and inspire your community, activist or faith group, union or workplace. Get in touch for more information.
