Workshops at the camp

This year’s workshop timetable is the best ever with over 200 workshops covering everything from vegan cake baking and climate science through to the role of banks in the fossil fuel economy and how to plan successful direct action.

With speakers including George Monbiot, Caroline Lucas MEP, and international activists from across the world joining us at Kingsnorth, this timetable is probably the biggest and most comprehensive Climate Change workshops programme ever assembled!

Best of all, the programme is highly participatory with each session leaving plenty of time for debate not just passive listening. With windmills powering our laptops and ecological systems to clean our dirty dish water there will also be plenty of opportunities to learn hands on skills too.

This year, we’ve also put on a series of nightly plenaries addressing big questions for the movement including where we’ve come from, where we’re going and what we think about how to get there.

As always, all events are free and you can dip into whatever you want, whenever you want. So whether you’re joining us for a preview screening of The Age Of Stupid or coming to debate how we stop Kingsnorth with John McDonnell MP, you’ll find plenty to stimulate, inspire and motivate you to action.

For more information about all of the workshops and the inevitable programme changes and additions come by the workshops office at the camp.
