Please bring your camping stuff and all your friends.
We do ask people to donate what they can when they arrive to cover costs. You won't need to bring food as there will be kitchens providing meals. Last year there was a suggested donation of £4 a day for three meals, and this year is likely to be similar. You should bring a plate, mug and cutlery.
Please try and bring biodegradable toiletries and remember sun block.
Can people bring their own plastic plate, bowl, mug and some cutlery. We are always short and if people bring their own and look after it then it is really helpful.
Other things it might be useful to have include: a torch, a car phone charger and solar lights or tealights in jam jars.
Also climate camp radio will be broadcasting throughout the camp, so if you have a radio, bring it.
And what not to bring:
All forms of discrimination will be actively challenged. So leave them off site!
We ask you not to bring your dog. This is now absolute, they are not welcomed by the farmer.
We ask you not to bring your car and to use public transport to come to the camp. We will try to find a little parking near the camp site but there will be a fee. If you plan to bring a live-in vehicle then we might have space, but you should check asap with site@climatecamp.org.uk
Climate Camp - materials for the Day of Action
Any materials relating to the Day of Action, including things that appear to be innocuous (oars, inflatables, pumps, D-locks for bikes and so on) may be seized by the police.
You may like to store such items offsite for collection at a later date.
Obviously there are some things that cause unnecessary suspicion on the part of the police so be sensible when packing. We advise that you leave pen knives and anything that looks remotely nasty at home.
