29 Climate Campers Arrested in Great Coal Train Robbery

Surley nobody could be daft enough to burn 10 million tons of coal in a power station that wastes two thirds of the energy as vented steam. Climate Camp desperatley in need of funds suspected the coal train to Drax must instead be a smuggling operation for gold bullion to fund an evil empire hidden in the furnaces of Drax. Any way a robbery was meticulously planned, the train was stopped and people dug deep into the coal but no gold was found. Looks like Drax really is a brainless idea to burn coal and wreck the climate.

Switch roles and 29 people decided to blockade the train and close fuel supplies to the power station.

At 12pm on Friday evening the last three coal train blockaders where evicted from the bridge above the blockaded train. The occupation had lasted 16 hours and occupiers had shovelled around 30 tons of coal onto the tracks. 20 people where cut out of arm tube lockons and 9 were taken of the bridge, 29 were arrested and charged with conspircy to commit Unlawful and malicious obstruction of trains. Everyone was out of the police cells and accounted for by 10pm Saturday evening. Everyone is bailed to return... you guessed it on the 31st of July and 4th 5th and 6th of August. The fires at Drax are still buring but the movement to stop coal is growing fast.
