Our list of the property seized (taken from the police's version) shows there's lots still to collect.
Kent police seized well over 1000 items from protestors attending the Climate Camp in Kingsnorth.
All the property taken from the site soon after the site take has now been returned. Most has gone to Nottingham.
Please contact legal[at]climatecamp.org.uk for more details. For example, there is one wet suit, some stuff thought to belong to Gary (photographer), and a large battered blue plastic-coated cable bike lock.
Property taken from individuals or vehicles can only be released with a signed consent form. You do not have to give your name and address to the police, just sign the form. Give as much details as you can about the property and when it was taken and email legal with a scanned copy of the form. There are probably some items where even if you do not want them back they could be put to good use. For instance, it would be good to collect the life jackets and canoes.
